The A63 autoroute des Landes has an emergency call point approximately every two kilometres. Available 24 hours a day, a simple call will immediately put you in touch with an operator from the Saugnac-et-Muret Operations and Maintenance Centre, ready to take the appropriate measures to help you.
In the event of a breakdown:
Stop on the hard shoulder or in a refuge. ⚠ The obligation to display the triangle does not apply to vehicles immobilised on the hard shoulder on motorways
Switch on the vehicle's hazard warning lights and don the yellow safety waistcoat before getting out.
The driver and all passengers exit the vehicle to the right and position themselves behind the guardrails ⚠ Don't go back to your vehicle: after the breakdown service, you may retrieve all your belongings.
Once you are safely behind the guardrails, you have several options for getting help:

You can also use the "SOS autoroute" mobile application to report your problem or that of another road user. You will be put directly in touch with the motorway safety control centre for a quick and efficient response from the emergency services.
Don't forget: the use of mobile phones at the wheel is strictly forbidden. Stay vigilant on the motorway, all our tools are here to help you in case of trouble.
