The term SET-PL refers to the European framework for interoperable electronic toll collection for heavy goods vehicles for class A, B or C vehicles. It is modelled on the Liber-t system used in France for light vehicles.
It offers a single, global payment contract for tolls due on different networks over a given period.
You will need a badge supplied by the transmitter, which you can place on the windscreen. This device makes it easier for you to pass through toll gates, and can even be used to pay tolls. From now on, this will be done "non-stop", at a reduced speed of 30 km/h, thanks to the "TSA 30", indicated by the "30" speed limit signs.
Commercial discounts: Since 1 October 2016, discounts have been offered to frequent users. From 1 February 2024, a 5% discount will be granted to vehicles making 81 or more journeys per month on the A63 Landes (Castets or Saugnac-etMuret stations). Eligible passages are those with an electronic toll tag and for which the tag corresponds to the vehicle declared in the tag

The breakdown service (towing and removal of vehicles), which is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is carried out exclusively by service providers approved to operate on motorways. Approvals (for light vehicles or heavy goods vehicles) are granted by the Prefectures for a limited period (5 years for light vehicles and 7 years for heavy goods vehicles), following a call for tenders monitored by the government. A set of specifications sets out the performance targets and quality requirements.
For heavy vehicles, the breakdown service is also available 24 hours a day to help customers in difficulty.
Rates are not regulated for HGV breakdown services, given the diversity of operations that may be required. However, Atlandes is particularly vigilant and monitors the invoicing of operations by approved breakdown services and remains at your disposal for any information via our contact form on the site.
